Sound waves move through the air. When sound hits a hard surface, it bounces back, creating an echo. When sound hits an acoustic panel, the energy travels through the fabric and enters the dense core. This turns the sound energy into tiny bits of heat. However, you can’t feel the heat, but the sound reflection stops the echo from the space.
The hidden science behind 3D fabric solution!
3D acoustic fabric panels combined with sound science. Here you can check out the solution:
The core
The core is manufactured from recycled PET felt or high-density fiberglass. PET is a strong, eco-friendly plastic made from recycled bottles.
The fabric
The core is wrapped in a breathable, acoustically transparent fabric. Transparency means air and sound waves can pass through the fabric into the core.
The 3D shape
The 3D shape includes peaks, geometric folds, and curves that scatter the sound waves. Just imagine when a sound wave hits a panel like a billiard ball or bumper, instead of reflecting it, the shape breaks up the noise
